"Ah! There is nothing like staying at home for real comfort." --Jane Austen

walked to the bus through sluicing rain, discovered shoes were leaking (discovery due to fact that water was welling up between toes with each step. thought nasty thoughts about clothing/shoe industry). shivered around campus and through two classes. came home, traded soaked trench coat, dress pants, silk sweater, angora socks, and knee boots for sheepskin slippers and general yoga attire. downed a mug of hot chocolate (while maniacally laughing children squeezed water out of my socks, a source of great hilarity to them) and then snuggled up with two warm wiggly little cuties and a pile of books (plus the secure knowledge that abigail's favorite crusty bread was in process and that dinner would thus be greeted with cries of joy).

happy at last. oh how i love fridays!

What a delight to see pictures of someone I cherish (you) so obviously in love. I am grateful to Neil for the solid man that he is. Assuming normal people, a successful marriage is probably 10% initial choice and 90% continued choice. Thanks Neil. Give my love to Abagail and Juliet.

Dad, I really like how every time you mention one of your granddaughters on here, you spell her name wrong...haha, it's funny :)
