do you want to know a secret?

There's a new baby joining our family in July.

We are REALLY super excited! (and I am especially excited that the first trimester is over, with all the nausea, headaches, and general crankiness. I think my family is very relieved to have the real me back again). And I'm glad that I'm finally announcing this, because I'm terrible at keeping secrets, especially ones that I'm over-the-moon happy about.

Hurray, hurray, hurray!!!

Congratulations! I feel like I'm surrounded by babies. Kristin announces she wants to get pregnant, friends here telling me they're pregnant yesterday. All my sister-in-laws (including the Katie that Neal knows) are expecting. I'm super out-numbered here! I hope for you're sake you have a boy. They're so different from girls. I love mine to pieces - he's just so fun!

I was beginning to wonder if that 'sickness' you had when you said you were throwing up maybe was because of something else...

Congratulations! I'm looking forward to pictures of you and your cute little belly :)

Congratulations! May you have a great pregnancy and an even better delivery. Perhaps a boy this time? Will you be finding out the gender as soon as you can or at delivery time?

For all you boy-hopers, Abigail is convinced it's going to be a boy, so we'll see if she's right! We are indeed planning on finding out the gender at the ultrasound, if possible. And while my sickness last week was stomach flu, I definitely had a good two or three weeks where I spent most evenings lying on the couch feeling like I was going to be sick forever (or sitting next to the toilet REALLY feeling like I was going to be sick forever). Glad that's over!

Congrats! How exciting! And don't listen to what others say, people kept telling me that the third was the hardest to adjust to, but so far (a whole 4 weeks, maybe I should give it some time before I say this) it's been great!! Good luck and glad you're feeling better!

Wow--congratulations! So I'm trying to figure out how far apart Juliet and the new addition will be. Two years about? I should know this.

I guess your comment on my blog was in anticipation of a log more night feedings than I'm having to deal with right now :).

Anyway, I'm very excited for you! It's so much fun to anticipate a baby with someone and you're a great mom.

Sorry--"a lot" not "a log"

Yea! Congrats! Wow, three kids. You are brave. I'm just trying to keep it together with my ONE little guy. :-) Congratulations, and I can't wait to hear if it's a boy or girl.

I think Juliet will be 23 months when the new addition joins the family - she was born August 2007.
(right?)

Yep, the baby is due on the 22nd, and Juliet was born August 7th, so she'll probably be about two weeks short of two when the baby is born (although she's sure doing her best imitation of a two-year-old already).
