We spent our second day in Teton kayaking around String Lake and it was so delightful that we decided to do the same thing the next day on Leigh Lake!
This text from Luke to our family group text made me laugh out loud.
Since Leigh Lake is only accessible by boat + portaging or hiking, I ran up there early on Monday morning to check things out and figure out where we wanted to access it, etc.
This was just after sunrise and the water was so flawlessly glassy.
Dad and Isaac did the initial paddle up + portage to the lake (it's about a mile upstream from String Lake) and then Nathan and Matthew did the return journey!
It was chillier the second day so we spent a few hours there and then headed back to wrap up preparations for our backpacking trip the next day.
With, of course, the obligatory stop at Mormon Row.
