baby on the way!
So my doctor decided to induce me tomorrow (39 weeks today). Barring any sudden rush of laboring women into the hospital tonight which would bump us to another day, we'll be at the hospital at 6:30 a.m. tomorrow morning.
Everything is normal (except for my 4 lb-in-eight-day weight loss, which is odd, but also nice), so it's an induction for convenience (ensuring that Neil and the doctor will both be there, since the doctor is going out of town and Neil has well, Neil's crazy work schedule in addition to school starting and the qualifier exams). All my contractions over the weekend have indeed been productive, so there's a good chance I would go into labor on my own sometime in the fairly recent (and less convenient) future, so I prefer to be induced rather than have an unfamiliar doctor and a husband who is present but is supposed to be making a big presentation that day at work. (This way we will avoid said big presentation.)
Katrina, I really will try to take some pictures of myself before I have the baby and lose the pregnant bump, so maybe I'll post some later tonight!
