You are the trip I did not take, you are the pearls I could not buy, you are my blue Italian lake, you are my piece of foreign sky.
"What a happy woman I am living in a garden, with books, babies, birds, and flowers, and plenty of leisure to enjoy them!"
--Elizabeth von Arnim
from Elizabeth and Her German Garden (1898)
Thanks for visiting! I'm a happy wife and mother to six delightfully mischievous children. I fill my early mornings with university teaching and spend the rest of the day finding joy in my children, my garden, and my kitchen. I love running & reading, planning new adventures, trying out new recipes, and watching my children discover their world. This is my blog: be prepared for lots of pictures, lots of foodie talk, and lots of ruminations on my continually evolving philosophies on parenting, eating, and living.
Please comment!!! (I hate that talking-to-the-void feeling). Or feel free to email me at theirchronicles@gmail.com.

Elise and I were actually wondering about that yesterday. Juliet probably would be scarred. If she ever found out about it.
I admit I've wondered what you would do too. I really like your blog title too, but I have to feel for Juliet too!
I just asked Neil about this very issue (before I read your post). I propose the following title:
Continuing investigation into the applied science of child development, with specific emphasis on the work of Abigail et. al. [1]
The "et. al." saves you from changing the title every couple of years.
idk... kinda like the origional title. if u keep changing it, ull have to change it for every kid u ever have. id keep it, just because that was the title u started with and it might confuse people if they have to keep remembering all the diff names. if u do change it though, what name were u htinking of?
i dont know about changing your blogname, but maybe changing your blog picture? Fair compromise, maybe?
