- The Ensign. I just love it. I wish it came out more frequently, since the two half-hours of reading it on the elliptical are the highlight of my workouts every month. This month's is really a gem.
- My girlies who are both so beautiful and happy. Jules seems to have the same sweet temperment that makes Abigail such a delight.
- the US postal service. how cool is it that fun things come right to your mailbox every day?
- Abigail's pigtails...they are so cute
- The wonderful friend who made the frozen chicken pot pie that I defrosted for dinner tonight
- Disposable diapers
- Endorphins. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful endorphins.
- Amazon.com, that purveyor of reduced-price textbooks
- My husband, who doesn't mind if I disappear at early or late hours and run off to the gym
- Ceiling fans
- The general amazingness of our physical bodies...what a blessing. I always feel particularly grateful for this gift while I'm working out, since it makes me feel so good. I know it's kind of weird to realize gosh, the plan of salvation is great because it makes it so I can work out and feel happy, but that's always when it really hits home to me. That and right after a baby is born.
- Abigail's willingness to pick up all her toys
- Fresh tomatoes from the garden
- Clean bathrooms
- A husband who will de-cricket my shoes when I scream hysterically after putting my shoes on, feeling something inside, and pulling it out (I thought it was a really big black spider)
- The smell of freshly-washed children (ah, Johnson & Johnson...)
- J.K. Rowling...I'm rereading them all again, and they just get better and better!
- Broadway soundtracks
- an incredibly thoughtful aunt and uncle who sent Abigail and Juliet darling little clothes today (see below)
How about you? What are you grateful for today?
