friends!

Are these not the cutest girlies ever? I am glad Abigail and Elise are such good buddies! (this pic is courtesy of Andrea from the research picnic on Saturday).

On a "friends" note, today Neil and I were saying goodbye after my class while Abigail impatiently ran towards the exterior doors. She looked back at us, waved her hand, and said "Come on, friends!"

I love that. I'm glad we're all friends as well as parents and child--she told me the other day "Mommy and Abigail buddies," and when I responded, "Yes, we are!" she said "Daddy buddies too?"
