new friends

Tonight we invited a couple of the new families in the ward over for games and dessert. We really enjoyed having the chance to talk with them and get to know them (and eat lots of yummy food!) and Abigail had a blast running around with the boys being generally crazy. She kept chasing them around saying "Hiiiii booooys!" and laughing.

We've generally had a nice relaxing weekend with the opportunity to get some to-do list things done: pruning bushes, touching up the paint in the kitchen (unfortunately it appears like it will be a project of some duration), just sort of general maintenance-around-the-house things. Neil, bless his heart, mopped the kitchen floor for me yesterday, so I am rejoicing in cleanliness!
