A few quick pics from our first full day in the Tetons! We drove through the night on Thursday, got there late Friday, and then on Saturday morning I woke up eaaaarly and decided to go for a run.

I ran around Jenny Lake and saw one bear, three deer, a weasel, and a gazillion marmots and squirrels.

Then when I got back (quick rinse in Jenny Lake in lieu of a shower) we headed up to hike towards the base of Middle Teton. My dad hadn't hiked this since he was a kid and it did not match his memory of an easy hike, haha!

According to my watch I logged 30 miles that day and it STILL OFFERED ME TIPS FOR STAYING ACTIVE ON VACATION. Rude!

This was such a gorgeous hike! When we got up to the meadow just after the boulderfield all of the boys dunked themselves into the snowmelt stream...cooled off pretty fast!

Loved this final pic of my dad and Matthew walking back down together...we felt so lucky to have this week with my dad!
