A week ago we picked up 9 new chicks, much to the children's delight. We've made it through the first week with all 9 still alive. (Silkies, black sex-link, Isa Browns, and Leghorns.)
The big chickens are happily pecking around the yard and following behind the tiller as Neil works on the garden. I'm thankful for good weather that has been encouraging everyone to spend as much time as possible outside.
